I had planned to make a simple post about the simple theme of this weeks photo challenge, but as it usually happens with me ‘simple got complicated real fast’. So, I’m going to have to wait to make the ‘simple post’ until tomorrow when I have more time to work on it.
Meanwhile, I couldn’t let today go by without a post. I went through my photos and saw my photo of this charming frog and my thoughts turned to wistful Springtime longings again… To me, there’s not much that says Spring better than the singing of a frog. I’ll be so happy when the world is once again alive with the songs of the creatures celebrating the warm sunshine and life giving Spring rains.
Here’s wishing you all a hoppy weekend
filled with Spring thoughts and sunshine!
Hi,
He certainly is a colourful little guy, we have a rather large variety of frogs in Australia as well, which you often hear when it is raining.
I hope you also have a great weekend.
Thanks Mags
I hope you have a great weekend too.
Love your new “springtime” header! And what a sweet little frog. Reminds me of my childhood when I played with frogs – and no, I’ve never had a wart in my life!
Thanks Dianna
I was like you a child. I loved playing with frogs, toads, lizards, turtles, and most anything like that. I’ve never had a wart either. lol
Too bad they got such a bad reputation!
And without cause…
I agree. It’s a good thing we brave little girls didn’t listen to the the wart-rumor mill.
Oh E.C. I love the Spring Peepers!
Thanks Pix
Such a cute shot E.C. of this little frog. And, I love the new header! Margie
Thanks so much Margie
Love the frog! Can’t wait to hear them in spring
Thanks WS
I’m with you, I can’t wait to hear them too.
