Here’s Shelibean posing with one of his most favorite chew toys: a hard plastic coat hanger.
I gave it to him when he wasn’t much bigger than a hotdog bun. It seemed the perfect toy, he could chew on it without cutting his gums and it’s hard enough he couldn’t eat it. He totes it around the house, wrestles with it and has the best time. It’s so funny to see him walking through the house with it hanging around his neck or laying on the floor like this ‘just hanging around’.

That coat hanger would not last 2 mins with my dog, it would be broken and bits of it would be scattered everywhere.
