Reblogged from Enjoying Gardening:
The seeds I ordered the other day have arrived.
Wow, that was fast! It's only been 3 days.
I can hardly wait to get these babies started.
Unfortunately, that won't be for a few weeks yet.
So for now I'll have to settle with daydreaming of them growing
and producing yields to rival the mega commercial farms.
I'm so happy to have these seeds in my hands…
This is my newest update on my gardening blog.
I can hardly believe how fast the seeds I ordered the other day came in the mail!
~Sweet!~

A new seed catalog came in the mail today. I just asked the farmer how I’ll be able to have flowers this spring with all these young dogs digging holes.
Hey Charlotte,
New seed catalogs are the Christmas catalogs for Spring time.
I feel sad for you and the digging dog issues.
I’ve read that some folks use some sort of pepper to deter dogs from their flower beds. You’ll need to do a search engine search and see which kind. You’d probably need to replace it after every rain, but it’d be worth a try.
I wish you much luck.
Hi,
That’s great, 3 days you can’t beat that.
Thanks Mags
I know. I couldn’t hardly believe how fast they arrived. Cool!

Oh, E.C., I’m so, so happy for you. I’ve been dreaming over so many ‘must haves’ as I want to use all Heirloom seeds this year again. I am finding that I love to save seeds…now, to remember to plant them.
Blessings
Thanks Dar
lol on the remember to plant them. Forgetfulness has become an aggravating part of my life.
Heirloom seeds are somewhat hard to come by in the varieties I favor. The 1 one squash is a hybrid and the sweet orange peppers we like are hybrids.
If you want an heirloom ball squash, the rond de nice is an heirloom. It tastes like a zucchini. Yum!
