I'm so happy. My Basil and tomatoes seeds have sprouted. Now if I can just keep them alive and growing until planting time, I'll be so happy.

Those first sprouts always add such excitement. I direct seed my basil and it overwhelms with production. What kind did you start? Good luck with the tomatoes too. Oh, I am so excited for you. I cannot wait to see the produce.

I agree, the anticipation during the waiting for them to sprout and then for Spring to plant them. I can hardly wait for the produce too. Yum!
The basil is a sweet basil albahaca dulce. As short as your growing seasons are, I’m always fascinated at how much produce you all can grow between last and first frost. You do such a great job with gardening and canning and oh the delicious foodies you make.
